MUSCOGEE NATION NEWS

The Communications Department meets the needs of the tribe and its citizens through the dissemination of relevant information.  The Muscogee Nation News features stories and photography done by staff reporters covering programs, services, special, community, church and ceremonial ground events through the official semimonthly news publication.

The Muscogee Nation News is a full-color, 16-page publication consisting of a single tab-size section.  It has a circulation of approximately 8,500 with an estimated readership of at least 21,250 based upon the standard 2.5 rate.  It is sent by First Class twice a month from Stigler, Ok., where it is printed and distributed to enrolled citizens' households across the U.S., upon request and proof of tribal citizenship.

“We strongly encourage citizens to submit story ideas, events and any news they may have in their communities. The people in every one of our communities from Duck Creek to Dustin are the fabric of our Nation and we want to tell their stories. By sharing what is happening in our lives with others, we can become a stronger, more unified Nation with the power to adapt and survive in the future.”

-Rebecca Landsberry
